Jim grew up playing baseball, football, and basketball and went on to play semi-pro baseball for six years, and softball for 14 at the national level. His competitive drive and love for coaching doesn’t let him take a break from fastpitch softball for long, though. He loves the strategic excitement and speed of the game.

He has four children that he is very proud of: Ashley, Tyler, Zachary, and Kaylee. They are all hard working, have high integrity, and are very kind. Jim’s family is very close with his mother. At 78 years old, she has always been the foundatin of their family core values and work ethic. He says that she is the greatest influence the family will ever have.
