Matthew Crownover

Georgia Baseball Director

Matthew played football, basketball, and baseball growing up. His baseball skills led him to Clemson (2013-15), where he was a two-time all-American and the ACC pitcher of the year in 2015. He was picked in the sixth round of the MLB Draft by the Washington Nationals. He started a baseball pitching and hitting business in 2015 during his first offseason as a professional baseball player and now has more that 100 clients.
Matthew and his wife Madison have been together since high school and are expecting their first child, a son, in July of 2020. The family is very close – his mother-in-law donated a kidney to his mother when she needed a transplant.
He enjoys watching college football when time allows along with road trips to sporting events.
“I think teamwork plays a key role in all facets of my life. In my relationship with my wife, we both have our strengths and weaknesses, but rely on each other to make our family work as efficiently as possible. Professionally I look for guidance to make myself better aim everything I do. No one person is above asking for helping or learning in my opinion.”
