Ken played a variety of sports growing up, especially football, basketball and baseball through high school. He then attended the University of Northern Colorado, where he was a pitcher on the baseball team.
Ken and his wife, Tracy, have three sons.
He enjoys spending time with his family, especially when it involves sports and travel.

“When I think about it, virtually everything I have done has involved a team. Without question, I’ve been a part of some excellent teams in my life and career. Baseball is my favorite sport – I love that is doesn’t use a clock. It seems boring to some, but there is much more going on if you understand the game. I simply enjoy being at the ballpark.”
