College Softball Star Courtney Coppersmith Set to Attend CSE Camps at Colorado 4th of July

Fresh off the completion of her stellar college softball career, Division 1 softball star Courtney Coppersmith will make several appearances at the CSE Camps during the Colorado 4th of July festivities.

Coppersmith will appear at four separate CSE Camps during the event and will participate in Q&A sessions with parents and players to talk about everything from her own recruiting process to her college softball career and experiences and how she balanced softball and academics.

The college softball great will appear at all of the CSE camps between June 25-27.

In 2023, Coppersmith returned to the field for her 5th and final season of college softball, and she did so while pursuing her PhD in chemistry. Coppersmith was one of just a few student-athletes in NCAA history to participate in a sport while simultaneously working on a PhD.

One of the best two-way players in the nation during her career at UMBC, Coppersmith earned a quartet of All-Region honors, including a pair of First Team selections in 2021 and 2023. She was named to the All-Region Second Team in 2019 and 2022. During every full year of her career, Coppersmith was named the America East Pitcher of the Year, the first player in league history to ever win the award four times.

As a “super senior” in 2023, Coppersmith also reached the 1,000 career strikeouts milestone.

Using the industry’s leading technology, College Sports Evaluation – CSE – produces reliable data so that athletes know where their current athletic level falls on an objective scale. Every athlete deserves constructive feedback, and through a CSE, both the athlete and their parent receive that very feedback.
