UCLA NATIONAL CHAMPION KINSLEY WASHINGTON ATTENDING ZOOM INTO JUNE CSE CAMP

One year ago, Kinsley Washington was playing in the Women’s College World Series in a UCLA uniform. Young softball players will soon have an opportunity to hear about her incredible career as a Bruin directly from Washington herself.

Washington will be appearing at the Zoom into June CSE Camp on June 9th in Chino Hills, California.

The hero of the 2019 Women’s College World Series championship team thanks to her game-winning hit over Oklahoma, Washington will take part in a Q&A session with parents and players participating in the CSE camp.

Participants will be able to interact with and ask questions of Washington, including about her career at UCLA; how she navigated her own recruitment process; winning a National Championship; balancing being a true student-athlete; and more.

During her career at UCLA, Washington helped lead the Bruins to the Women’s College World Series four times, bookending the shortened 2020 season. She was a two-time All-Region honoree and was named to the PAC-12’s All-Defensive team in 2021.

A member of the Bruins’ active roster from 2018-22, Washington currently ranks third in UCLA history in total games played with 257. She also ranks fifth in program history with 187 runs scored.

Using the industry’s leading technology, College Sports Evaluation – CSE – produces reliable data so that athletes know where their current athletic level falls on an objective scale. Every athlete deserves constructive feedback, and through a CSE, both the athlete and their parent receive that very feedback.

The Zoom into June CSE camp takes place in Chino Hills, California as part of the heralded and summer-opening tournament. Set to take place at Big League Dreams beginning at 9 am Pacific time on Friday, June 9th, registration for the camp is now open and includes packages ranging from solely the college coach-run camp to the camp along with a full CSE Report including objective sensor measurements and a developmental plan.
